The nuts and bolts of the Keys.

The Nine Keys move in a rhythm of their own, and keeping to that rhythm is part of the alchemy. The Key Peg is where you’ll find the practical structure of the work: the schedule, the flow, and how to keep yourself steady as the apprenticeship unfolds.

Keys 1–9 (Assignments) 🔮📖

Each month, a new Key will arrive by email, usually around the 27th.

  • The First Key will arrive a few days before the first class.

  • The Second Key will arrive a few days before the second class.

  • And so on, month by month.

The link for classes will always be at the top of each Key.

Classes will be in the first week of the month.
Narinder will send a list of all class dates and times
a month before your First Key.

All assignments for each Key must be completed within 4 weeks, by the last day of the month. This is non-negotiable. The alchemy depends on timing.

The Keys must be completed in order—one turns the next. 🪶

Inside each Key, you are free to move through the assignments in any order that feels right for you.

Unique You 🌸

Narinder welcomes all learning styles and encourages students to speak up about any learning uniqueness. Together, you’ll find a way to make this journey work for you. Authenticity is highly suggested. Perfectionism is not required.

Accessibility can always be expanded. Narinder is not an accessibility expert, but she is open to suggestions if you notice anything that could better serve you.

Narinder herself works with dyslexia and neurodivergence and appreciates understanding around occasional misspellings or odd phrasing. If you ever need clarification, just ask.

Required: Print your completed assignments and keep them in your Guidebook. Printing the Key assignment lists is also recommended, as the Keys change often. Your Keys will be unique to your pod.

Narinder will explain assignments in detail and answer any questions during the first Introductory Zoom meet-up.

The class link is always included at the top of each Key received by email.

Connection with Classmates 🌹

Each pod consists of 4-5 death workers apprentices.

Once a month, Narinder asks each pod to meet informally over Zoom.

She’ll share more details in the first class, but this time is for you and your fellow apprentices to:

  • Hold sacred circle space (pull oracle cards, exchange recipes, share witchy wisdom)

  • Discuss Die Wise as a book club

  • Witness and support one another

  • Practice reciprocity

  • Make or share art together

Monthly Zoom Meetings 🌀

Attendance at monthly Zoom classes is required.

Please join from a quiet, cozy space, not from a car, café, or anywhere noisy.

This keeps the flow of the class intact.

Be prompt. Classes run for two full hours, and every minute is used.

Each class closes with meditation.

You may want a shawl, a candle, incense, or a cup of tea nearby— whatever helps you settle into that space.

Talk It Out with Narinder 🌺

Once a month, you’ll schedule a one-on-one call with Narinder.

These conversations are a vital part of the Keys, without them, the alchemy of the work is incomplete.

Your death work will take on its own unique shape.

These calls are where that begins to emerge (if that’s your desire).

The Keys can rearrange you, death work is a change-maker, and Narinder is here to support you as it happens.

NOTE: The Apprentice Scheduling Link can be found here and is also included in every Key.
